About
Why I Do This Work and What Guides Me
In 2013, I became a certified transition coach because I wanted to understand why certain life changes create so much emotional turbulence. I had already lived through several reinventions of my own, and I felt called to help others navigate their turning points with more clarity and confidence. Coaching gave me a way to offer support to people who were searching for meaning, direction, and a renewed sense of themselves.
Over time, I began to hear the same story again and again. People who had spent decades building careers, families, and identities were suddenly stepping out of those roles and feeling invisible. Many felt unsure of their value or disconnected from the purpose that once guided them. I understood those feelings. I had sat with them myself.
This is what inspired me to create Boomer Banter. I wanted a place where we could talk honestly about aging, identity shifts, friendship, purpose, loss, and reinvention. A place where people could hear real stories and real encouragement. A place where everything you carry from your lived experience is not only welcomed but valued.
As a coach and podcast host, I have spoken with hundreds of experts, storytellers, and everyday people who have rebuilt their lives in both small and powerful ways. What I have learned, and what I share through all of my work, is that your next chapter is not about becoming someone new. It is about becoming more fully yourself.
My purpose is simple. I want to help you remember your worth, reconnect with your spark, and move toward a future that feels meaningful, connected, and alive. Whether you discover that through a podcast episode, a coaching session, or a quiet moment of reflection, I am grateful to walk a part of that journey with you.
