October is Domestic Violence Month. My guest, Annette Johnson was a witness to the domestic violence her mother suffered, and did not realize she was also a victim of the trauma until many years later.
In our conversation, Annette shares her experience and what she has learned on her healing journey. She has been working to make peace with what happened and shifting from a negative mindset to a positive mindset.
Part of her healing included writing a book: “FLY – Forgive and Love Yourself” and she has recently launched a podcast called “Living in the Good Space – Conversations on thriving wherever you are in life.”
